Wow.So this is a hidden gem.Being a fan of Gerry Anderson from a starting point of Space 1999 (and then later running into his Supermarionation works) and being a fan of Go Nagai anime/manga, this was a greatly rewarding find.I first ran into it when searching for Gerry Anderson stuff on Youtube. I bought a copy of it because it looked like a bunch of crazy space Supermarionation hijinx (who can lose with that, correct?). However, I was shocked to see that Go Nagai wrote the story for this. As soon as I knew that, a bunch of the character conceptions and costuming made all the more sense.I've only watched 4 episodes so far. This thing is fantastic.Never heard of it?Brian May and Eddie Van Halen put out a cover of the opening theme song!It's crazy how little exposure this thing has had, but it apparently was never released outside of Japan an England.Yeah, it's goof-ball, but a lot of fun to watch. Great models. Rod-puppets (from beneath) versus wires from above.A great buy from my view point.
