Far From Home is the continuation of book 1 in the series, Taste of Home. The story was more fluid than the first book with more action and brutality. Once the action really picks up, the book was riveting to me. I could not put it down from that point and finished it. One part of the story was predicable to me, but there were a few twists that I did not see coming. Again, Miller shows us the depths of his imagination and undeniable talent with this continuation of the series.Far From Home takes place 5 years after the events of Taste of Home. Katie Lieberman is a young woman now with an agenda of her own. She makes the decision to face her destiny head on without the support or knowledge of her father.
